About a week ago I went to dinner with one of my best friends and two of our friends. Now me and my bestie have boyfriends or *something like it* and the other two women are single. Well, we got on the subject of relationships and at that moment I realized why they could never be in my REAL FRIEND circle.

One of them said ‘I don’t respect girlfriends.’ And her friend just cosigned.

That was an immediate RED FLAG because *hello* I am a girlfriend. And I am very territorial and I do no tolerate disrespect especially when it comes to my relationship. That just made me think that if I introduced her to my guy and she thought he was her type she wouldn’t hesitate to flirt or do something even more shady to get with him. I also thought that if she saw him out she’d approach him without any thought about me.

I kind of brushed that feeling to the side until we went out last night.

I saw a guy that I used to hang out with, and was holding a conversation with him and the ‘cosigner’ just got right between us and tried to make him remember her when clearly she saw us talking. It didn’t bother me that she wanted to talk to him or anything like that. What bothered me was the disrespectful way she did it. It just made me think that if she saw me with my guy *who i haven’t introduced her to* if she thought he was attractive she’d do the same thing.

I just feel really uneasy about them both now.
